The Office of the Superintendent of Bankruptcy (OSB) and the Canadian Association of Insolvency and Restructuring Professionals (CAIRP) want to help Canadians avoid debt-relief scams. A consumer alert has been issued to help indebted Canadians recognize the telltale signs of debt-relief scams and to identify reliable sources of debt assistance.
